        光氧催化局部排風系統的吸風支管一端是機上吸口,另一端在匯流三通處與干管相接,支管氣流與干管氣流在匯流三通處具有公共點稱為兩股氣流的匯合點,兩股氣流在匯合點匯合,一般動壓是不等的,但其靜壓相等。干管氣流到達匯合點的靜壓稱為剩余靜壓,它是匯合點的實際靜壓。吸口與匯合點的靜壓差是支管吸風的動力。對于形狀和尺寸給定的支管,只要吸口狀態和匯流三通匯合點處的靜壓一定,支管的吸風量就一定。支管吸口的狀態以及支管的形狀和尺寸確定之后,根據風量或風速,就可求得支管在匯流三通處的靜壓,稱為該支管的計算靜壓。

        UV光氧催化設備各支管的形狀和尺寸以及吸口狀態都相同,如果給定的吸風量也相等,各支管的計算靜壓就相等。如果干管氣流到達匯合點的剩余靜壓也相等,那么各支管的吸風量就相等,這就是所謂的靜壓恒定原理。如果干管氣流到達匯合點的剩余靜壓不僅相等,而且等于各支管的計算靜壓,那么各支管的吸風量不僅相等,而且能按照給定的風量吸風,這就是均勻吸風原理。

        就一般情況而言,對于任意形狀和尺寸的支管以及任意給定的風量,只要求出各支管的計算靜壓,并使干管氣流到達匯合點的剩余靜壓等于該支管的計算靜壓,則該支管就能按給定的風量吸風,這就是定量吸風原理。它對吸風管道的設計更具有普遍意義。
